Kentucky Waltz
One more video from our amazing trip to Ireland. Here’s some footage of Daniel Joseph Dorff and I playing Bill Monroe’s, ‘Kentucky Waltz’ in a giant vegetable refrigerator in Dublin:

Daniel Joseph Dorff, New Music From this Man.
DJD is working on a new record for my label, Ol Kentuck. It’s a beautiful and engaging piano record that feels like home & the turning of the seasons. The full album (which marks the very first time I’ve ever engineered a record on my own - scary & exciting!) will be coming to you on December 12, 2011, but we have readied a track for you now. It’s Dan’s take on that joyous old tune, Cielito Lindo. You can download it for free & learn a bit more about the project & the label right here:

‘Wendy Bird’ live in Dublin, Sept. 19, 2011
Here’s our version of Wendy Bird, a song written by Haley Bonar. This was filmed by the good folks at Arbutus Yarns at that lovely venue along the banks of the River Liffey known as The Workman’s club, and features that fine pianist, Mr. Daniel Joseph Dorff.
